Brauhaus Frings
Brauhaus Frings is one of New Zealand’s oldest Micro-breweries. The Brauhaus has become a haven for beer lovers as it combines well crafted beer with a relaxed, informal atmosphere making it an ideal place to sit and unwind. All the beers are chemical free and contain neither preservatives nor salts or any other artificial substances. Choose from premium lager, draught, old ale or their seasonal brew. A great place to have lunch – their homemade burgers are famous in Whangarei – or enjoy an afternoon beverage, perhaps taking in some live music.
Sailfish Cove
Situated on the stunning Tutukaka Coast and looking over its own private ‘Sailfish Cove’, the winery is in one of Whangarei’s prime locations. Sample the winery’s Chardonnay and Cabernet as well as homemade olive oil from their Olive Grove.
